Hello, America

My name is Bob McNeil, a concerned American citizen who is running for President of the United States in the November 2012 election.

I enter this race as a candidate representing the newly-formed American Citizen Party, a common sense alternative to the Democrat and Republican parties, who have clearly demonstrated that they no longer serve the interests of the American people. Instead, the professional politicians in those parties serve the special interest groups who contribute money to their campaigns and promise large blocks of votes to ensure their re-elections.

My candidacy is based on the principles of personal responsibility, self determination, and freedom for all American citizens. I draw my inspiration from a belief in the Creator, the wisdom and truth in the writings of the Founding Fathers, the power of the Declaration of Independence, and the perfect governing model set forth in the United States Constitution.

I enter this race now because it will take time to build a grassroots organization from the ground up before the 2010 primary season begins. It will also take time to spread the word about my 21st century vision for this country that I call the "Common Sense Plan to Restore Freedom to All American Citizens".

Here are a few highlights from the plan:

• It shifts the balance of power from Washington, D.C. back to the States, and to the People.
• It is completely constitutional.
• It drives a stake into the heart of liberalism and relegates those who support that ideology to minority status for all time.
• It will only happen when all freedom-loving Americans rise up and elect a President who is willing to exercise the power granted that office in the Constitution, for the common good.
• It can only be implemented with the stroke of a Presidential pen.
• It includes details about the "Economic Freedom Act", new legislation containing my economic plan.
• It restores economic freedom by eliminating our current income-based tax system and implementing a 21st century tax collection system based on the principle that the only fair tax is one that everyone pays.
• It contains the innovative "Vote with Your Dollars" feature, which gives those of you who choose to participate, the freedom to allocate your tax dollars over four government spending accounts.
• It reorganizes the committee and subcommittee structure of Congress, limiting the ability of its 535 members to add amendments and earmarks to legislation. The result will be more targeted, transparent legislation, and less government waste and corruption.
• It reduces the size of the Federal government by eliminating those programs that fail to achieve their objectives, as well as those that are not authorized by the Constitution.
• It contains a simple solution to the angry tone in our nation, for those who are willing to try it.
• It restores the United States to the global model of freedom and prosperity in six years.

In November 2008, 69,456,897 million leftists elected Barack Hussein Obama to the Office of President of the United States. In November 2010, more than 150 million freedom-loving American citizens will begin taking our country back. That mission will continue in 2012, and be complete in 2014.
